Central Park Halloween Festival

Today we wanted to get back outside before Hurrican Sandy comes and so we reverted to our usual walk in Central Park.  We walked down to 72nd street to go to the Central Park Halloween Festival.  It was lots of fun, they handed out pumpkins, had a pumpkin decorating station, a puppet mobile, a relay race station, haunted house too!  We ate yummy popcorn, got a treat, climbed rocks, looked at mini sailboats, horse drawn carriages, walked past the very pretty Boat House adorned with yellow mums, played in the leaves, listened to music, played in tunnels.

Katie slept on the walk there since she didn't sleep the night before and Mikey fell asleep in my arms 2 blocks from home.

Getting a pumpkin muffin.  Mikey was drooling over the cupcakes and pointed at each one saying he wanted it for his birthday.

Loved this old fashioned truck.  The popcorn was really yummy too!

Lots of people out and about.

On our way to the haunted house.

The Boat House.

They were holding hands a few moments before.

I think she found the biggest leaf in the park.  It definitely looked huge next to her.

This is me taking a pic. while still up on the rocks that Mikey so easily climbed down.

View outside our window.  The leaves are changing and falling.
