Keeping busy in PA

We spent the week of July 14th in PA.  I knew I had wanted to go down there at least one week during the summer with the kids to break up our summer a bit and this was the perfect week to do it!

During this week we went to the State Museum, Wildwood Nature Center, Dutch Wonderland, Lake Tobias and celebrated two birthdays.  When we weren't out doing something we were doing stuff at home, like making baked goods to sell at a bake sale at my cousin's work, playing Wii and other games and riding out bikes.  The kids stayed up late every night while I baked with my mom and sister....I mean late, late; 9:30 or 10:00 was not unusual during this week.  They played outside in the dark and caught fire flies and ran bare foot and had a fun and exhausting week!

As soon as we got there first things first.  A climb in the tree!

Putting together this game to race marbles.  The kids loved it!
Just a few of the dozens of sugar cookies, chocolate chip cookies, brownies, special K Bars, rice krispie treats, popcorn treats and chocolate and nut covered marshmallows.  We made $400 for the CCFA this week!!!

Hard to find a good place to run back home so did it at the track.

Boxing with the Wii.

Jamie making her specialty popcorn for me!

Mom making sugar cookies! Thanks for all your help Mom.  I don't know where you find the energy to wake up early every morning, spend all day outside working and then come home to make dinner and spend 4 plus hours of baking!  You're the best!

Piggy Back Rides.

Taste tester.

Mikey and Nana boxing each other on the Wii.

Playing battleship with cousin Bryan outside on a gorgeous day.
