Welcome to Stamford!!!!

So about 10 days after moving to Stamford and we are finally feeling settled.  We've had 2 move in days, a trip in between back to PA and a few days of running to Home Depot, Target and Ikea to get a few essentials.  But we are finally getting into the groove of things.

Stamford and the surrounding Fairfield county towns are absolutely stunning.  There are lots of small quiet beachy towns, some heavily wooded areas and big, beautiful homes and properties sprinkled throughout. There is lots to do here, nature centers, the beach of course, children's museums, lots of farms to pick fresh fruit from and pumpkins from in the fall.  Also, we are 45 mins. from NYC and 2 hours or so to many towns up the coast and to Boston.

I think we will really enjoy living here and having more space for the kids to explore and grow.  I've certainly have enjoyed having a car and a larger kitchen.  The playroom, ahhh yes the playroom.  Well I'll save that for a different post.

Welcome to Stamford.
The playground across the street from us behind the church.
Our new vehicle.  A GMC Acadia.
Fresh cut flowers from our many hydrangea plants.

Our first meal in our new home.  Some chicken and mozzarella ravioli with homemade pesto the neighbor brought over the very first day.
