Stamford Nature Center

The Stamford Nature Center is literally within walking distance of our home.  It's an awesome outdoor space full of animals, trails, and a huge playground literally built right into the side of a hill.  We'll definitely get  lots of use out of our membership.  We have been there a handful of times with family, new friends and old friends, and by ourselves.  Each time we see something new or find a new area to explore.

Our new neighbor has a 14 month old and we went to the Nature for the first time with them.  They showed us the ropes.  We then went about a week later with friends from NYC who drove up for the day.  Ashley, Andrew, Ryan and Julian along with Mary and Quinn came with us to the Nature Center.  So fun to show them around.  Come again soon!

We enjoyed a picnic lunch in the huge garden.

Each time we go the baby pigs seem to gravitate to Mikey.  He has the magic touch.
Katie and Quinn near the pony.

The enclosed garden lent itself for running out some steam.

Katie and Quinn were both so tired.

Alicia and Evelyn checking out the horses.

A huge slide!

Original and authentic tractors the kids sit on every time we go.

The 7 or 8 baby pigs born on July 29th.

We love the baby pigs.

The boys holding hands.  SO cute!
