Sticker Chart complete!

Mikey finally completed his sticker chart.  There were almost 30 stickers and he got one sticker for doing 3 good deeds.  Cleaning up his toys, doing something without being asked twice, helping out with various tasks, etc.  Almost 5 minutes after he received his last sticker, Scott and him went to Target and came home with a Nintendo 3DS and 3 games.  Wow, was he a happy boy.  I'm not sure who was more excited when they came home, Scott or Mikey?!

Summer lovin

We are loving summer and have been spending lots of time outside.  We go to the beach just about weekly and take our friends there and have already had so many fun memories there.

Mikey is a natural at baseball.

Oh, just a typical day with two naked kiddos attached to my legs.

Running around naked and watching fire trucks go by.

At the beach with friends.

Ellie, Abby and Mikey.

The love each other.

They also love Dairy Queen.

First day of summer

This weekend we headed north for a quick little getaway.  We stopped by Scott's Aunt and Uncle's home for a BBQ and to see their redo of the kitchen and porch.  Always so good to see them and cousins.  The food was amazing.  Smoked turkey and perfectly cooked pork loin with yummy sides.  It was a perfect way to spend the first day of summer.  After the BBQ we headed farther north still to New Hampshire to spend the night with friends from college and see their new baby.  When we lived in NH we were only 20 minutes apart and hung out all the time.  Their oldest Jack is 5 months older than Mikey.  Wow, back then we were new moms and clueless.  Time flies by.  Mikey was excited to see where he was born, Nashua, NH and now asks almost everyone where they were born.

She was so proud she climbed the spider web ladder by herself.  We got up to Mass early and let the kids run off some energy at a playground.

Enjoying the new patio and the kids are enjoying new toys.

Smoking the turkey!

It looks great Uncle Dave!

Yum.  Veggies.
More playing before the guests arrive.
Jack and Mikey were so cute.  Almost instantly, Jack asked Mikey: "Do you want to take your shoes off?  Do you want to take your pants off?"  once we arrived.  It was hilarious, especially once Jacks, mom and dad, Josh and Betsy learned that Mikey loves to go pantless at home too!  They were instant friends and picked up right where they left off 4 years ago.
Jack and Mikey with no shorts.

Mikey playing with Moose and Mojo.

A total hit!  If we had a backyard for it this would be the next purchase. They could have rode around in this all weekend.

Moose giving Scott a hug.  Such a big great dane and so friendly.

Charlie, Mikey and Jack watching the Lego movie.

There's little Issac.  Almost 2 months old.

Giving snuggles to Scott.

The whole crew on a morning walk.  L to R: Mojo, Josh, Jess, Mikey, Scott, Katie, Betsy, Jack, Charlie and Issac.

Randoms.

We've been very busy doing lots of random things over the last 2 weeks.  Here's a few pictures to enjoy!

Katie shaking everyone's hand at the wedding.

The party started!

Like Father Like Son.

My little one and I at the first day of school.

The first Friday in June is National Donut Day.  Buy a drink and get a free donut. The kids loved this kind of holiday.

But each time they eat a donut, but around 11am I remember why I don't buy them that often around. Total meltdowns from the sugar crash.

Shopping with this silly girl.  She must have picked up every single purse in the store admiring it!

Dinner at a friends home and they purchased a Ube Cake from Red Ribbon Bakery in Queens for me.  Delicious and highly recommend this Filipino cake made with purple yams and no food coloring!

Super hot outside so A/C went on.

Taking our nightly walk.

Mikey said (where's the scooter?) when he saw this neighbor's sign.

Building robots out of blocks.

Elmo at a birthday party.  Mikey doing a walk by to check him out.

Bounce house with new friends.

Batman and Batgirl to the rescue!

Hugs.

Hugs and ....

....more hugs on the ground.

A picture Mikey drew of Me in a rocket ship with a baby in my belly.

The first Monday after school let out and he's making rocket ships out of boxes.

Little 1 week old baby pigs.

Walking through the forest.
