Central Park Zoo

The kids and I finally took the bus (or 2 buses) to the Central Park Zoo.  I can't believe it's taken us over a year to get there!  While it's small with your typical zoo animals, it's the perfect size to spend a morning.  The kids especially loved the kid's zoo which has a feeding section where you can feed sheep and goats.

Lots of birds.

We met our friend Mary and Quinn there! Checking out monkeys.

Penguins.  We waited to see the zookeepers feed them however, after waiting over 15 mins. the kids were ready to go.

Running around the seal exhibit a few times.

Seals.

Polar bear sleeping.

Katie kept saying "Bear, sleeping. Shhh."

A tunnel to check out.

Katie a little too short for the bunny.

Mikey in the bunny.

They were so cute in the tunnel together.

Katie on the turtle.  She kept saying "Crush." which is the turtle's name in Nemo.

Time to feed the sheep.

A little baby sheep.  The kids couldn't get enough and kept saying Sheep, Cute.

A spider web to play on. Mikey was in heaven and pretended to shoot spider webs from his hands.

Hi.

He loved touching and petting them.

These are very well fed goats.

Break for lunch.

Yum.

Turtle pose.
