Our Chicago Home

After renting out our Chicago home for the last two years, we've decided it was finally time to sell it.  Funny, our tenants lived in our home longer than we did, but nonetheless it holds a special place in our hearts.  It was where Mikey learned to walk and where we brought Katie home from the hospital.  It was in a terrific neighborhood full of kids, it had a few pools to enjoy during the summer and  parks all around, it was on a quiet cul-de-sac and had an awesome kitchen and a gigantic finished basement that would have been perfect to burn off some energy during the winter months.

We've had a flurry of activity as soon as we put the house on the market and 4 days later we are under contract! Phew.  That was easy :)

Here's some pics. of our home.  We sure will miss it!

Our home during spring and summer.  I know it looks tiny but we had over 3500 sq. feet!  After living in NYC I don't know what I'd do with all that square footage again!

And our home during Chicago winters.

Oh, how I miss this kitchen.  It's what made me fall in love with this home.

Our dining room with the nice stone hearth.

Our master bedroom with walk  in closet and built ins.

Part of our huge basement!  Mikey would love it at his age.
