Y'all know I love to bake.
Saturday and Sunday morning I love to make the kitchen nice and messy making a yummy breakfast. The kids and husband now expect a grand breakfast.

No excuse needed to spend the morning baking Christmas sugar cookies. This was my first attempt at making them from scratch. It was really easy and boy do they taste so much better than the prepackaged sugar cookie mix you buy at the store. All it took was a little planning a head to let the dough sit in the fridge over night. The kids were really involved and had a lot of fun cutting out the shapes and putting the sprinkles on the cookies. We made so many that we took cookies to our two neighbors who are little old ladies. They appreciatively took the cookies from Mikey and Katie who were so proud to say that they made them.
