Katie just started to walk. I have started to wean her. She has started sleeping through the entire night from 7pm until 6am. No more nighttime feedings! Horay!
Her vocabulary has exploded to roughly 20 to 30 words. We can't keep up. Car, Baby, Block, Book, Hi, Bye, Hot, Shoe, Cup, Sand, Boob, Dog, Siren, Cereal, Owie, Poop.....I'm missing a bunch of other words. She actually says all these words in the proper context and she'll tell me when she went poop. I can't usually smell it but if she says poop, sure enough there's something in her diaper. She says hot every time we get close to the stove. She waves hi and bye on command and will usually give a big wave and smile to everyone on the elevator. She even says Amen after prayers.
She is so pround of herself when I sit her on the potty. She yells and grunts if I don't sit her on the potty, especially when she see's that Mikey just went on it. So she usually follows suit and as soon as she's on there she's a happy girl. Most of the time she doesn't actually go but it's fun for her to sit.
She is my good eater and loves fruit. She loves to mimic Mikey. Her laugh sounds just like his and she understands what we say. She'll gladly give us hugs and kisses when we ask and will even throw things away. People constantly tell us how much they look like each other.
I have to keep the doors closed to keep her contained. She's so quick and I have found her enough times with her hands in the toilets or throwing all the dirty clothes on the floor to then put them back in the hamper. She could do that for an hour or so.
She also likes to organize items and take things out of containers and put them back into them. Ex; block sorter, putting animals into and taking them out of Noah's Arc, clothes into and out of the hamper, magnets out of the book then back into the book.
She loves reading books with us and doing whatever Mikey is doing or eating whatever Mikey is eating. You can't give something to Mikey and not get some type of protest from her. She is also a drama queen and will scream at the slightest thing she doesn't like. Typical girl! Ha.
