Below are some pictures taken during different visits to Cove Island Beach which we've been to now a handful of times at different times during the day. It's about 5.5 miles from our home and is big with a trolley, playground, large grassy areas, lots of trails to ride your bike, walk, run and skate on and a nice sandy beach. Once you get closer to the water there are some shells which can hurt your feet after a while. I may have to invest in water shoes next summer.

Cove Island Beach
There are about 5 different beaches that we can visit within Stamford with a season pass for $20. It's good through the end of September. The other beaches in near by towns charge a non-resident daily fee so we've been sticking to the beaches in Stamford.
